Established in 1926, the Watchung Deli has been serving the Montclair community for decades. Although ownership has changed over the years, our goal remains the same: to provide superior quality food and service to our customers. We know that our deli has a strong, loyal following and we strive every day to preserve its long-standing
traditions while introducing new favorites.
We pride ourselves in using the freshest ingredients and serving recipes that have been passed on for generations. Our sandwiches are unique and delicious and some have even been creatively constructed by our own customers. You may see sandwiches with names like, "The Angry," "The Sandwich," "The Benny Mac," and "Zero" on our menu, but if you're looking for something a little more familiar, we also offer classic deli meats and cheeses and are happy to make your sandwich to order. We serve everything from hot coffee and breakfast sandwiches to savory meatloaf and some of the best hot soups in town.
